ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA (August 2, 2021) – K&K Glass, 8th largest automotive glass company in the nation – 2nd largest in the state of Florida, announced that they are going auto glass only.  “We have experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and with this growth I feel it is time for K&K Glass to focus strictly on auto glass and calibration services.  K&K Glass will work closely on many projects in the future with the newly formed Central State Glass, operated by Rob Kassabaum”, said Dan Knowlton, President, and CEO of K&K Glass. “Residential and Commercial glass has played a large role in the success of K&K Glass, largely due to the leadership of Rob. This will be a large transition as we restyle the K&K Glass organization and transition the flat glass component to Central State Glass. We will continue to operate both organizations from many of the same facilities for the foreseeable future. I believe this reformation is a positive move that will allow both companies to expand and succeed for many years to come,” said Knowlton.

“I have worked with Dan for the last 24 years at K&K Glass, and I am excited to continue working alongside him in this new endeavor,” said Rob Kassabaum, President, and Owner of Central State Glass. “Both companies will continue to work very closely together, utilizing each other to continue offering superior service to our customers in the future just as we do today. This alignment allows both organizations to widen our scope and geographic presence throughout the state of Florida.”

About Central State Glass

Rob Kassabaum entered the glass and glazing industry in 1981 as an apprentice. At that time, he met Dan Knowlton’s father Ced, who was a supply-side rep for a national vendor. He credits Ced with an invaluable trade mentorship. This family and business relationship have continued through to this day. Rob brings to Central State Glass the same values that have elevated K&K Glass to its prominent market position. CSG is proud to announce that the same customer service and technical personnel that have been involved in the K&K Glass non-automotive (flat glass) division have enthusiastically joined this new venture. We all look forward to serving and expanding our Central Florida market. For more information on Central State Glass: visit: www.centralstateglass.com.
